Meet the Porky Crew

We are Max, Daniel and Antonia who together decided to quit our jobs, buy a sailboat and explore the world for as long as our savings last. After some searching, we found our home, Porky, a Wauquiez Centurion 40 from 1987 in England. We went through a 3-months refit on a boatyard in Hayling Island, UK. Living and working on the boat at the same time was challenging but we gained lots of experience, got to know Porky in and out and were able to finish the repair and preparation work within our limited budget. At the end of October 2020, we launched the boat, did some shake-down sails in the area and, once ready, started our sailing adventure westward. Since then we have been exploring different countries and beautiful places and enjoyed every bit of the cruising life.
